An old English proverb states “Necessity is the mother of invention.” LenderLetter.com was created to fulfill a necessity in the real estate lending and buying process, providing a competitive advantage to lenders, agents and their buyer clients.
In 2004, two northern California real estate brokers, John Brannan and John Yonan, after selling thousands of homes throughout their careers, shared a frustration with one another during a backyard barbecue. They had both recently lost deals due to a lender that had not provided a timely and customized pre-approval letter to support their client’s offers. This is when the original discussion took place that would later manifest itself into LenderLetter.com. LenderLetter is an online web application service that provides secure, on-demand, and industry compliant buyer pre-approval letters.

an innovator in technology. Prior to becoming licensed as a California real estate broker in 2002, John Yonan spent the bulk of his career in the tech field with companies like Ebay, Wrigley Chewing Gum and more!
